Keeneland Kentucky Spring Meet & Bourbon Tasting

This two nighter April 7th to 9th will be one to remember! Nonstop to Lexington on Tuesday afternoon, landing right next to the track, our group of 10 ( members only) check in to The Manchester Hotel…..what Garden & Gun Magazine calls the “Best of Lexington “ before having dinner at the iconic Dudley’s On Short, home of the revered Hot Brown, created in 1926 and a local favorite.

Wednesday morning we’ll rise to a hearty breakfast before a private tour of Lanes End (horse breeding) Farm owned by the Farish Family of Gasparilla Inn fame, arranged by Ray Ix. Then it’s off to the track for lunch, two private trackside boxes and an afternoon of racing amongst the lovely surroundings of this intimate 1936 track.

Our winnings will be certified and celebrated over a private bourbon tasting given by the most knowledgeable of local somaliers that evening before dinner at the bluegrass inspired Grandam restaurant.

Thursday morning we’ll rise and fly back (through Charlotte- best option) in time for Masters Night at Sunnybrook with our fellow IVth Streeters! How perfect is that?
